blue crystalline bowl.The crystals pool in the bottom of this bowl draws
the eye down into what seems to be a liquid center. The crystals appear
to"float" over the background of this bowl. Through careful control
ofthe firing process at very high tempuratures the crystals are suspended
in the glazes of these shallow bowls, often giving a 3D like effect. This
beautiful bowl was fired repeatedly at more than 2380 degrees F.

ont un fond étalant des cristaux qui semblent baigner dans un liquide;
ce motif trompe-l'oil attire immédiatement les regards. L'effet
des cristaux qui semblent "flotter" au-dessus de l'arrière-plan,
